Backend Engineer

Job Summary

To support a growing technology platform, the full-time Backend Engineer will design and build scalable backend systems and APIs using Python while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Design and build scalable backend systems and APIs using Python
• Develop distributed services and infrastructure tooling to enhance system performance
• Collaborate with product and engineering teams to troubleshoot production issues and optimize system reliability

Required qualifications

• 2.6+ years of professional software engineering experience
• Strong proficiency in Python and Object-Oriented Design
• Experience building production-grade backend systems and APIs
• Good understanding of distributed systems and scalable architectures
• Familiarity with SQL and NoSQL databases
