Backend Engineer

Job Summary

Joining a fast-paced environment, the full-time remote Backend Engineer will lead the design and implementation of secure, robust, and scalable services for speech processing, while optimizing system performance and collaborating with product teams to develop new features.

Key responsibilities

• Improve core inference services related to networking, speech processing, and audio transcoding
• Develop processes for measuring and optimizing services to enhance system performance
• Collaborate with Product teams to design and implement new services and features

Required qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in an industry role
• Programming experience in Rust (or C, C++) and competence in Python
• High level of experience with version control systems, preferably Git
• Comprehensive experience with UNIX-style systems
