Backend Engineer

Job Summary

To support the development of intricate backend systems, the full-time Backend Engineer will work remotely to build high-performance APIs, manage complex event-driven architectures, and contribute to impactful technology solutions for large-scale clients.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain sophisticated backend systems using Node.js
• Develop high-performance APIs to support data visualizations and scalability requirements
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address complex system architecture and database design challenges

Required qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience with Node.js in building backend systems
• Strong knowledge of both SQL and NoSQL databases
• Experience with event-driven system design and performance optimization
• Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new technologies and complex systems
• Startup experience is a plus
