Backend Engineer
Job Summary
To drive the modernization of client backend microservices architecture, the contract-to-hire Backend Engineer will design, build, and maintain scalable solutions using TypeScript and Go while collaborating with client stakeholders remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain scalable microservices on Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
- Collaborate directly with client stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver high-impact solutions
- Revamp existing backend systems to improve performance, reliability, and maintainability
Required qualifications
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in backend engineering using TypeScript and Node.js
- 2+ years of production experience working with Go
- Experience building and deploying backend microservices on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) is a plus
- Full availability to work within Mountain Time (MT) business hours
