Backend Engineer
Job Summary
To support a growing engineering team, the full-time Backend Engineer will design secure APIs for authentication and authorization, manage infrastructure, and build client libraries while working remotely across the US.
Key responsibilities
- Design and implement performant and secure APIs for authentication and authorization
- Manage infrastructure using Packer and Pulumi on AWS to ensure high availability and performance
- Collaborate with the Support team to understand user needs and provide effective solutions
Required qualifications
- 3+ years of engineering experience
- Experience working independently on small teams
- Familiarity with Rust, Python, and TypeScript
- Interest in authentication and security standards
- Ability to work with flexible hours while maintaining overlap with 9am-5pm PST
