Backend Engineer Disputes

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Backend Engineer, Disputes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Scope, design, build, and maintain APIs, services, and large-scale systems for money movement requests
• Analyze data to detect patterns for cost savings and solve critical production issues
• Mentor early-career engineers, collaborate with stakeholders, and improve internal engineering standards

Required Qualifications:

• 2+ years of software engineering experience
• Proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g., Ruby, Scala, Go, Java)
• Understanding of good practices in building and working with APIs
• Experience working with diverse teams and stakeholders
• Preferred: Prior knowledge in financial technology, especially in payment processing
