A company is looking for a Backend Engineer (Go) on a contract basis.

Key Responsibilities

• Build high-performance, distributed systems and scalable APIs using Go
• Develop and implement performant backend services to handle high-throughput traffic
• Integrate logging and monitoring tools to ensure system uptime and reliability

Required Qualifications

• 4+ years of professional experience with Golang in building microservices and backend systems
• Strong understanding of concurrency patterns and scalable architectures
• Proficiency with PostgreSQL or MySQL, and caching layers like Redis
• Hands-on experience with AWS services and Docker/Kubernetes
• Ability to start work within 48 hours and work a consistent 40-hour week
