Backend Engineer II

Job Summary

A company is looking for an API Engineer II to deliver high-quality APIs and workflow services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, enhance, and maintain API endpoints and backend services
• Implement business workflows, validations, and integrations across internal systems and partner APIs
• Assist with FHIR API development and resource mapping under the guidance of senior engineers

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience
• 2-4 years of backend development experience
• Strong understanding of REST APIs, authentication, and service-layer design principles
• Experience with relational databases and data transformation processes
• Familiarity with healthcare data models or a demonstrated ability to quickly learn FHIR concepts
