Backend Engineer III

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Backend Engineer III.

Key Responsibilities:

• Build backend services including core APIs, data processing, and trading systems
• Deliver software components from initial commit to production
• Work in an agile team to produce working software incrementally

Required Qualifications:

• 3+ years of professional experience in consumer-facing software development
• BS in Computer Science preferred or relevant industry experience
• Passionate engineer with the ability to turn ideas into working software
• Experience building RESTful APIs
• Familiarity with or interest in Scala, Akka, Terraform, Postgres, SNS/SQS, Kafka, Ruby on Rails
