Backend Engineer III

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Backend Engineer III for the Brokerage Team.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services for the Core Banking System, ensuring performance, reliability, and scalability
• Architect and implement robust asynchronous workflows to efficiently process banking transactions
• Optimize and scale the system for high availability and security while collaborating with cross-functional teams

Required Qualifications

• 3 - 5 years of professional experience in backend software development
• Strong proficiency in Go or experience in another backend language with a willingness to learn Go
• Experience with event-driven, asynchronous architectures
• Proficiency in relational and distributed databases, preferably CockroachDB or PostgreSQL
• Hands-on experience in building highly scalable, fault-tolerant backend services
