Backend Engineer III

Job Summary

A company is looking for an API Engineer III to design, develop, and maintain complex backend services and integrations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, build, and maintain core APIs and backend services for platform workflows and external integrations
• Develop and support FHIR-based integrations, including resource transformation and workflow orchestration
• Implement business logic and integration patterns for internal and partner-facing APIs

Qualifications:

• 4-6 years of professional backend engineering experience
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• Proven experience building APIs and service integrations in production environments
• Working knowledge of FHIR resources and healthcare data exchange
• Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) deployments and cloud-native development practices
