Backend Engineer (.NET)

Job Summary

To support the development of AI and analytics applications, the contract Backend Engineer (.NET) will design, develop, and maintain scalable cloud-native solutions using .NET and collaborate with cross-functional teams in a remote setting.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable cloud-native applications using .NET and Java or Python
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and deliver new features
• Implement and maintain unit tests while following Test-Driven Development (TDD) practices

Required qualifications

• 4+ years of hands-on experience with .NET core (C#)
• Strong understanding of object-oriented programming and experience upgrading legacy .NET Framework applications
• Familiarity with Microsoft SQL Server and Entity frameworks
• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field, or equivalent work experience
• Experience with CI/CD tools and Agile software development practices
