Backend Infrastructure Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Backend / Infrastructure Engineer.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement robust backend services using Python, Django, PostgreSQL, and Elastic
• Collaborate with the frontend team to define and implement APIs for the user interface
• Own and enhance deployment pipelines and platform tooling for efficient application delivery

Required Qualifications

• 5 years of combined backend and platform engineering experience
• Experience building APIs with an interpreted language like Python, Ruby, or JavaScript/TypeScript
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code tooling like Terraform, Pulumi, or AWS Cloud Formation
• Experience deploying production services on Amazon Web Services
• Understanding of CI/CD best practices, especially for containerized deployments
