Job Summary

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and eliminate backend performance bottlenecks through profiling and optimization
• Develop performance observability tools, including dashboards and automated detection systems
• Collaborate with engineers to advocate for efficient database access patterns and caching strategies

Required Qualifications

• Deep hands-on experience with PHP performance profiling and optimization
• Strong understanding of caching layers and strategies, including Memcached
• Experience with performance work on systems serving millions of requests
• Ability to instrument and measure performance using profiling tools and dashboards
• Self-direction and ownership in identifying and completing high-impact performance work
