Backend Platform Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Backend Platform Engineer.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop integration layers for structured data ingestion and routing through the platform
• Design REST APIs and event-driven microservices for enterprise client interactions
• Implement security and access control systems for complex organizational structures

Required Qualifications

• Proficient in Java, with a strong understanding of the JVM and Spring Boot
• Experience with SQL and data modeling, including writing complex queries
• Knowledge of API design principles and best practices
• Familiarity with distributed systems and handling failure scenarios
• Experience with GCP, Kafka, or Kubernetes is a plus
