Backend Software Developer

Job Summary

Seeking an Intermediate Backend Software Developer to work in a hybrid model from Luxembourg, this full-time position involves writing software, designing infrastructure platforms, and enabling development teams to enhance the production application environment.

Key responsibilities

• Write software tools, libraries, and services while designing and building the infrastructure platform
• Identify and implement new platform features, maintaining and upgrading existing systems
• Provide tools and best practices to support the software development lifecycle and participate in an on-call rotation

Required qualifications

• A degree in Computer Science or Engineering or equivalent experience in software engineering
• Proficiency in Java and strong knowledge of object-oriented programming concepts
• Experience in creating stable, reliable, and maintainable code
• Familiarity with data modeling, schema design, data structures, and algorithms
• Preferred knowledge of Linux systems administration and cloud infrastructure maintenance
