Backend Software Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Backend Software Engineer to manage and enhance their Ticketing & Ride Request system.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and maintain the backend systems for ride matching, station queueing, request lifecycle management, and fare calculation
• Build and operate services using PostgreSQL, Redis, and RabbitMQ within a Kubernetes environment
• Improve system observability and participate in incident response and post-mortems

Required Qualifications

• Strong experience in building backend systems that handle real traffic at scale
• Deep fluency in at least one backend language (TypeScript/Node.js, Go, Python, or Java)
• Hands-on experience with PostgreSQL and Redis
• Familiarity with message broker patterns, preferably RabbitMQ
• Experience with Kubernetes in production environments
