Backend Software Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Backend Software Engineer III to join their Address Validation, Tracking, and Pickups team.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement, test, and deploy software services with high SLAs capable of handling millions of requests daily
• Verify performance and correctness of systems regarding response time and throughput
• Refactor existing systems for optimal performance and contribute to design and peer reviews

Required Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in software development
• Coding experience in at least one server-side programming language and database languages
• Experience with a server-side MVC framework
• BS or MS degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
• Solid understanding of object-oriented programming and design patterns
