Job Summary

A company is looking for a Software Engineer, Backend / Data Systems focused on building infrastructure for data capture and transformation.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and scale the capture-to-cloud pipeline for data ingestion, processing, and storage
• Enhance performance across the data pipeline, focusing on compression, reliability, and observability
• Develop internal services and tools to support capture and operations teams

Required Qualifications

• Strong backend fundamentals in distributed systems, APIs, databases, and storage
• Experience managing systems end to end, including troubleshooting
• Ability to operate in less structured environments and contribute to creating structure
• Product-minded approach with the ability to translate feedback into system improvements
• Emotional maturity and sound judgment under pressure
