Backend Software Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Software Engineer II (Backend) to help build and evolve their next-generation platform.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and enhance backend services that power core functionality
• Collaborate with Product, Design, and Frontend Engineers to deliver customer-focused features
• Integrate with internal and external APIs and own the full development lifecycle

Required Qualifications

• Experience writing backend services in Go (Golang)
• Foundational understanding of distributed systems and operational challenges
• General knowledge of database design and access patterns
• Hands-on experience with cloud infrastructure (e.g., AWS or GCP)
• Track record of delivering high-quality work and learning quickly from mistakes
