Backend Software Engineer

Job Summary

Working remotely in a full-time capacity, the Backend Software Engineer will develop infrastructure and APIs, write efficient and testable code, and maintain the codebase to resolve customer issues while utilizing tools such as AWS, Postgres, and Node.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain infrastructure, data models, and features for APIs
• Write well-designed, testable code to ensure systems are efficient, scalable, and reliable
• Analyze and design systems while participating in company-building initiatives

Required qualifications

• BS Degree in Computer Engineering or a related field
• 2 years of experience as a Software Engineer or in a related position
• Proficiency in designing, developing, and maintaining software systems and features
• Experience with tools including Typescript, React, and AWS
• Knowledge of performance optimization and maintaining relational database applications
