Backend Software Engineer

Job Summary

Seeking an experienced Backend Software Engineer for a full-time remote position in the UK, responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining enterprise software applications while collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain enterprise software applications, including APIs and back-end systems using languages like Go and Python
• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code through a test-driven development process, ensuring security and adherence to best practices
• Integrate multiple enterprise applications and services, and design data pipelines for machine learning using event-driven technologies

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
• At least 7+ years of relevant work experience in back-end development
• Solid background in algorithms, data structures, and object-oriented programming
• Experience with database technologies like PostgreSQL and cloud technologies such as GCP
• Knowledge of containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes
