Backend Software Engineer

Job Summary

As a full-time remote Backend Software Engineer on the Core/API & Process Automation team, the successful candidate will build and evolve features in an event-sourced engine, manage end-to-end implementation of high-impact engine features, and design clean APIs while optimizing data access patterns.

Key responsibilities

• Build and evolve features in the event-sourced engine and its API
• Own well-scoped work end-to-end, implementing, testing, and shipping solutions
• Help ship high-impact engine features and proactively optimize processing patterns

Required qualifications

• 2+ years of professional backend engineering experience
• Solid grasp of event-driven systems and event sourcing/distributed systems
• Good API design instincts with awareness of backward compatibility
• Strong self-management skills in a remote/async setting
• High growth drive and willingness to tackle unfamiliar challenges
