Job Summary
Joining a dynamic HVAC Ecosystem team, the full-time Backend Software Engineer will design and develop backend features for third-party device integrations and customer experiences, working remotely within the US.
Key responsibilities
- Design and build backend features to enhance customer experiences and enable energy-saving automation
- Serve as the technical owner for critical product experience flows
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, analytics, and product management
Required qualifications
- 4+ years of experience in building backend software services
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science or equivalent experience
- Experience with scalable APIs and REST frameworks
- Strong SQL skills and proficiency in SQL and no-SQL databases
- Proficiency in one or more programming languages such as Python, Java, PHP, or Ruby
