Backend Software Engineer
Job Summary
Building and maintaining the core API for server provisioning and network management, the full-time Backend Software Engineer will collaborate with the platform architect and lead backend engineer while ensuring service reliability in a remote environment.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and maintain the core API relied upon by customers, SDKs, and internal systems
- Collaborate with team members on design and implementation of backend services
- Contribute to developer-facing interfaces such as REST APIs and webhooks
Required qualifications
- 5+ years of backend engineering experience
- Strong proficiency in Ruby on Rails, Python, or Go
- Experience in designing and building REST APIs at scale
- Knowledge of relational databases and distributed systems fundamentals
