Backend Software Engineer
Job Summary
Working remotely, the full-time Backend Software Engineer will design and build robust backend services and REST APIs for the Risk Cloud platform using Java and Kotlin, while independently debugging production workloads and contributing to a stable deployment lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement backend features and REST APIs on the Risk Cloud platform
- Write clean code and build comprehensive unit and integration tests to ensure deployment stability
- Independently diagnose and resolve issues within the service area by analyzing logs and data
Required Qualifications
- 3-5 years of professional backend or systems engineering experience in a high-growth environment
- Strong development experience with Java, Kotlin, or a comparable enterprise JVM language
- Solid experience building and maintaining production-grade REST APIs
- Practical experience with relational databases, particularly PostgreSQL
- Demonstrated ability to independently debug complex distributed backend services
