Own and deliver complex and/or mission critical parts of the company's roadmap
Drive high performance across the engineering organization by establishing and coaching on top tier engineering team habits and rituals
Undertake technical evaluations of prospective hires and provide stability and leadership for recruitment

Qualifications:

Extremely strong generalist backend engineering experience
5+ years of experience as a senior individual contributor on a team
Comfortable working with open-ended briefs or investigative projects
Able to optimize own performance and create a high-performing environment
Senior mindset and understanding of early stage engineering team dynamics
