Backend Technical Lead
Job Summary
Experienced in backend development, the full-time Backend Technical Lead will design and implement integrations using PHP/Laravel or JS/Node, manage client relations by communicating technical concepts, and lead project timelines while working remotely in the U.S. Eastern Time Zone.
Key responsibilities
- Design and implement reliable and secure integrations while optimizing databases and ensuring robust CI/CD pipelines
- Communicate complex technical concepts to clients, negotiate project requirements, and provide timely integration advice
- Lead project status updates, assist with development timelines, and mentor team members through collaborative problem-solving
Required qualifications
- Proficiency with PHP/Laravel or JS/Node, PostgreSQL, and AWS
- Experience in data modeling, mapping, and migration between systems
- Good understanding of the Shopify data model and hands-on experience with Shopify APIs
- Ability to collaboratively solve problems and share knowledge
- People management experience is a plus
