Backend Tester

Job Summary

Collaborating with technical teams, the full-time Backend Tester will support the testing and validation of backend data changes across ETL workflows, databases, and APIs, ensuring data integrity and business requirements are met in a remote environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and execute test cases for backend data changes, including ETL workflows and API integrations
• Validate data transformation logic and interface behavior across source and target systems
• Identify, document, track, and support resolution of defects and data inconsistencies

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of professional experience in software testing or backend testing
• Proven experience testing ETL processes, database changes, and API integrations
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field
• Experience supporting Agile software development teams
• Strong analytical skills and experience with defect management processes
