Backup Administrator II

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Backup Administrator II.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide Level 2 operational support for enterprise data protection platforms
• Monitor backup and replication jobs, identify failures, and perform root cause analysis
• Perform restore and recovery operations while ensuring backup policies and SLAs are implemented correctly

Required Qualifications

• 3-6 years of experience in backup, data protection, or infrastructure operations
• Prior experience in an L2 support role within an enterprise environment preferred
• Hands-on experience with Rubrik, Dell EMC Avamar, or PowerProtect Data Manager (PPDM)
• Strong understanding of backup and recovery concepts and storage concepts
• Experience working in ITIL based operational environments
