Backup and Disaster Recovery Manager

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Manager of Backup and Disaster Recovery to lead enterprise-wide strategies in a fully remote position.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee backup and disaster recovery technologies across on-premises and cloud environments
• Evaluate and implement backup/DR solutions and frameworks while guiding IT projects on best practices
• Develop documentation, coordinate with vendors for audits, and ensure compliance with security standards

Qualifications:

• 4+ years of experience with backup/DR tools (e.g., Cohesity)
• Strong background in virtualization (Nutanix), cloud (AWS, Azure), and storage (NetApp, SAN/NAS)
• Proficiency in Windows, O365, MS SQL, and Active Directory
• Familiarity with enterprise networking (Palo Alto, VPCs, MPLS, SD-WAN)
• 2+ years working with ITIL processes (preferably in ServiceNow)
