Bankruptcy Attorney (State Licensed)

Job Summary

Seeking a Bankruptcy Attorney (State Licensed) for a fully remote, full-time or part-time engagement, who will manage complex Chapter 11 proceedings and related insolvency matters, drafting pleadings, conducting legal research, and assisting with case strategy.

Key responsibilities

• Support complex Chapter 11 proceedings and related insolvency matters
• Draft pleadings and motions while conducting legal research
• Assist with case strategy and support bankruptcy litigation and restructuring transactions

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of dedicated bankruptcy and restructuring experience in a law firm setting
• Substantial experience with Chapter 11 proceedings, including 363 sales and Plans of Reorganization
• Familiarity with the Bankruptcy Code and local bankruptcy rules
• Experience with bankruptcy litigation, including preference and fraudulent transfer actions
• J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school and an active bar license in good standing
