Job Summary

A company is looking for a Bankruptcy Ledger Specialist to manage ledgers through the bankruptcy process for residential mortgage loans.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute and complete ledgers for all bankruptcy processes, ensuring high accuracy
• Verify borrower payment history and resolve discrepancies in payment postings
• Respond to inquiries from bankruptcy attorneys and internal departments regarding mortgage accounts

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent work experience required; bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance preferred
• Three to five (3-5) years of bankruptcy experience in the mortgage industry
• A minimum of two (2) years of experience balancing ledgers
• Knowledge of building payment history
