Job Summary

A company is looking for a Bankruptcy Recovery Specialist.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage a loan portfolio through the bankruptcy process, ensuring timely claims filing and member inquiries resolution
• Contact charged-off loans and negative share accounts, providing counseling and negotiating repayment arrangements
• Maintain accurate records of collection activities and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations

Required Qualifications, Training, and Education

• One to three years of related experience
• A two-year college degree, specialized certification, or completion of relevant training courses
• Basic to intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Windows, Word, Outlook, and Excel
• Knowledge of current State and Federal laws regarding debt collection and bankruptcy proceedings
• Must be eligible to become and remain bonded by CUMIS Insurance Society, Inc
