Job Summary

Managing the administration of mortgage loans in active bankruptcy, the full-time Bankruptcy Specialist will ensure compliance with federal laws and investor guidelines while coordinating case progression across all bankruptcy chapters remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and manage bankruptcy timelines and case progression from filing to discharge or closure
• Prepare and coordinate the filing of Proofs of Claim (POCs) and review bankruptcy plans for compliance
• Maintain accurate documentation and system updates related to bankruptcy accounts and payments

Required qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Minimum 1 year of mortgage servicing experience required
• 2-3 years of bankruptcy servicing experience preferred
• Knowledge of MSP and Black Knight required
• Strong understanding of bankruptcy processes and documentation requirements
