Job Summary

Monitoring and managing loans throughout the bankruptcy process, the full-time Bankruptcy Specialist will ensure compliance with investor timelines and company policies while reviewing bankruptcy-related filings and supporting accurate credit reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor loans to minimize potential losses and protect investors' interests
• Review and update bankruptcy-related filings, including proofs of claim and motions for relief
• Respond to inquiries from borrowers and attorneys regarding bankruptcy and credit matters

Required qualifications

• 1-2 years of related experience with an understanding of proof of claim and motion for relief processes
• Knowledge of mortgage servicing practices
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite or related software
• Ability to function well in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent organizational skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
