Job Summary

A company is looking for a Bankruptcy Specialist I.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and monitor potential bankruptcy customers through various notifications and calls
• Facilitate bankruptcy protection, coding, and cancellation of repossession assignments
• Handle calls from customers, attorneys, trustees, and bankruptcy servicers in compliance with regulations

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• One year of experience in a servicing center environment
• Experience with bankruptcy regulations and processes preferred
• General knowledge of collections policies and the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA)
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel and Word
