Bankruptcy Specialist II

Job Summary

Collaborating with clients and internal teams, the full-time Bankruptcy Specialist II will manage bankruptcy milestones, review accounts for compliance, and oversee vendor processes in a remote work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Work with vendors, attorneys, and clients to ensure adherence to best practices and industry standards
• Evaluate and approve fee requests while managing a comprehensive review of the assigned bankruptcy portfolio
• Conduct research on bankruptcy matters and correspond with attorneys to address requests for information

Required qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• Working knowledge of accepted business practices in the mortgage industry and federal bankruptcy processes
• Proficiency in bankruptcy search tools
• 3+ years of experience in bankruptcy/default mortgage servicing or related fields preferred
• Bachelor's Degree in Business or a related field preferred
