Basel III Subject Matter Expert

Job Summary

Supporting a financial services client on a short-term project, the contract-based Basel III Subject Matter Expert will conduct a gap analysis and develop a remediation plan, focusing on capital calculations and regulatory reporting, with a preference for candidates located in Charlotte, NC or Atlanta, GA for a hybrid work setting.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct a Basel III gap analysis and create a remediation roadmap
• Assess current state capital calculations and regulatory reporting processes
• Identify and address gaps in data sourcing, calculation logic, and reporting consistency

Required qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience with Basel III, including CET1, Tier 1, and Risk-Weighted Assets
• Familiarity with FR Y 9C (HC R) and/or Call Report (RC R)
• Proven ability to perform gap analysis and regulatory reporting reviews
• Strong understanding of data flows, mapping, and reconciliations in capital reporting
• Experience with Axiom (Adenza) for data mapping and report generation is a plus
