Job Summary
To support outpatient services for children and adolescents, the remote BCBA Licensed Behavioral Health Advocate will manage treatment requests, perform utilization management, and ensure appropriate care levels while working Monday to Friday, 8am - 5pm CST.
Key responsibilities:
- Collaborate with providers, facilities, and members to perform utilization management and authorization for outpatient services
- Assess and ensure that behavioral health care services are medically necessary and provided in the most appropriate setting
- Manage discharge planning and transitions between care settings to ensure quality outcomes and appropriate resources are in place
Required qualifications:
- Master's degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or a related behavioral health discipline
- BCBA Licensure
- 3+ years of experience in a related behavioral health environment
- Experience working with children, adolescents, and families, particularly with the autism population
- Access to secure, high-speed internet and a dedicated workspace at home
