BCBA Licensed Utilization Review Specialist

Job Summary

Working remotely on a contract-to-hire basis, the BCBA Licensed Utilization Review Specialist will perform prospective, concurrent, and retrospective reviews to determine the authorization, medical necessity, and appropriateness of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services for individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder and other behavioral diagnoses.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct reviews of ABA treatment requests for clinical appropriateness and benefit coverage
• Evaluate treatment plans, service intensity, and clinical outcomes using behavior analytic principles
• Collaborate with internal clinical leadership and cross-functional partners to support benefit application and case decision-making

Required qualifications

• Master's Degree or higher in Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Education, or a related field
• Active Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification in good standing
• 3-5+ years of clinical ABA experience, including direct patient care
• Experience developing ABA treatment plans and conducting functional behavior assessments
• Active state licensure as a Behavior Analyst where applicable
