Behavioral Health Admissions Counselor

Job Summary

Seeking a compassionate Admissions Counselor in a full-time remote capacity, this role will manage the admissions journey for families and referral partners, blending sales acumen with empathy to ensure exceptional experiences in behavioral health services for adolescent girls.

Key responsibilities

• Proactively generate, qualify, and convert leads while guiding families through the admissions process
• Build and maintain relationships with referral partners and serve as a knowledgeable point of contact for inquiries
• Track and report all admissions activities, collaborating with the Admissions Director to support enrollment goals

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or 1-3 years of experience in admissions, mental health, or related roles
• Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills, particularly in sensitive situations
• Highly organized and responsive, with a focus on detail and follow-through
• Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams in a mission-driven environment
• Prior experience with residential treatment preferred
