Job Summary

A company is looking for a Behavioral Health Billing Specialist.

Key Responsibilities

• Enter and verify patient demographics, insurance details, and charges for accuracy
• Apply appropriate CPT, HCPCS, and ICD-10 codes based on documentation and ensure timely claims submission
• Communicate with internal teams to resolve charge discrepancies and assist with claim resubmissions

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of two years' experience in behavioral health billing or related field
• Experience in CPT, HCPCS, and ICD-10 coding
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
• Ability to manage critical deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Knowledge of EMR/EHR systems, preferably Kipu or BestNotes
