Behavioral Health Billing Specialist

Job Summary

Seeking a full-time Medical Billing and Collections Specialist, this role will manage the accounts receivable process, ensuring timely billing and collections while working remotely to support behavioral healthcare practices in MA and NY.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure daily billing batches are error-free and ready for transmission
• Collect patient payments, update payment methods, and set up payment plans
• Conduct regular follow-ups with payers and patients to secure timely payment of outstanding balances

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required
• 2 or more years of experience in behavioral health medical billing
• Experience with high volume medical collections
• Bilingual (Spanish/English) is a plus
