Behavioral Health Care Advocate

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Behavioral Health Care Advocate for Utilization Management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage facility-based admissions for mental health and substance abuse through the continuum of care
• Collaborate with treating providers and facilities to ensure consumers receive appropriate treatment
• Communicate with consumers about benefit coverage and provide resources and referrals

Required Qualifications:

• Master's degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or related field
• Active, unrestricted clinical license in Kentucky and/or Indiana
• 2+ years of behavioral health experience
• Facility-based mental health/substance abuse experience
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and dedicated home office space with high-speed internet
