Job Summary

A company is looking for a Behavioral Health Care Advocate.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform telephonic reviews, crisis assessment, and initial/continued stay requests for authorization
Obtain relevant clinical information, coordinate transitions between care levels, and cover crisis line/precert on holidays
Administer public behavioral health benefits, obtain additional information from providers, and triage crisis calls

Required Qualifications:

Independently Licensed master's degree level clinician in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or related field
Current, unrestricted license to practice in the state of Maryland
2+ years of experience in behavioral health
