Job Summary

A company is looking for a Behavioral Health Specialist (Remote).

Key Responsibilities

• Review, prioritize, and process incoming behavioral health prior authorization and inpatient admission requests
• Verify member eligibility and enter clinical and authorization data into healthcare systems
• Coordinate with healthcare providers to obtain and clarify clinical documentation for authorization review

Required Qualifications

• Associate's degree in healthcare, nursing, social work, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience
• At least two years of experience in a high-volume healthcare, administrative, or customer service environment
• Strong working knowledge of medical terminology and healthcare documentation practices
• Experience with healthcare systems or databases preferred
• Demonstrated ability to multitask and maintain accuracy in a fast-paced environment
