Job Summary

A company is looking for a Utilization Review Specialist (or UR Nurse).

Key Responsibilities

Obtain initial behavioral health authorizations and conduct concurrent reviews
Collaborate with the clinical treatment team to assess denial of stay criteria
Monitor patient treatment progress through various care programs

Required Qualifications

At least two (2) years of work experience in the behavioral health field
Active license or credential in a behavioral health field preferred
Bachelor's or Master's in a behavioral health related specialty preferred
