Job Summary
A company is looking for a Behavioral Health Utilization Manager.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform precertification and continue stays authorization requests for mental health and substance abuse diagnosis
- Collaborate with the healthcare delivery team to ensure high-quality and cost-effective service delivery
- Identify and escalate quality of care issues to leadership
Required Qualifications:
- License to practice Behavioral Health services independently
- Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, or RN
- Minimum of three years of direct clinical patient care
- Minimum of one year of experience with medical management activities in a managed care environment
- Experience with clinical decision-making criteria sets
