Behavioral Health Utilization Senior Care Advocate

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Behavioral Health Utilization Senior Care Advocate.

Key Responsibilities:

• Complete behavioral health medical necessity reviews utilizing advanced clinical skills
• Analyze clinical information to determine the appropriateness of hospitalization in conjunction with medical directors
• Manage escalated concerns/cases to resolution and participate in meetings to review performance and identify areas of improvement

Required Qualifications:

• Master's degree level clinician in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, Marriage & Family Counseling, or a licensed Ph.D. or PsyD, or an RN
• Current and unrestricted licensure in the State of Nevada
• 3+ years of behavioral health clinical experience in a behavioral health setting
• 2+ years of experience in behavioral health and 1+ years of experience working within a Managed Care Organization (MCO)
• Willing and able to work in the Pacific time zone
